Thank you for considering a gift to the Washington City Mission. The Mission relies heavily on the faithful and generous support and prayers of friends and neighbors from the region who have truly been Partners in the Lord’s work at the Mission. Describing them as a "Partner" is not intended to be merely a clever twist of a phrase or a patronizing expression. We use it in the same way Paul did in writing his letter to the church at Philippi. You may want to consult with your tax advisor about the deductibility of any gifts and donations you make to the Mission. Most gifts are tax deductible.

We thank God for the partnership of people, just like you, who have joined in the Lord’s work at the Washington City Mission. This partnership touches many lives, changing all, saving so many, creating hope for the future, and making a vital difference to all who come in contact with us every day. Jesus told us "the poor will be with you always." Mark 14:7

We believe that He shared this truth not to discourage us or make us cynical, but rather to encourage us to always be prepared, willing and to plan to serve the poor, broken and homeless as He commands. Your willingness to consider a current gift or a long range "planned gift" at this time is very exciting.

We also accept real estate properties that can be liquidated into cash in order to support our work.

Material Gifts:

• Usable Vehicles with a current State inspection sticker

• Gently used Furniture, Clothing and Household Items

These items are distributed free of charge to people in need or sold through our Hidden Treasure stores at bargain prices, to help families stretch their dollars, and at the same time support the programs of the Washington City Mission.
